Parker's specialty over the nearly 60 years he has been making calls, first for himself and friends and then for others, has been the replication of wingbone yelpers of time honored design, including the Henry Davis trumpet, the Charles Jordan bamboo yelper, the Simon Everitt Roanoke River call and the two boned yelper of native American origin and usage extending back 8000 years. Rooted in history and proven deadly effective, the superiority of the suction yelper over the other types of calls has finally been recognized by the more adroit hunters of the present. Such superiority has been without the necessity of any additional improvement.
